Kite buggying - boarding: Ynyslas Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: 16 knots Surf / Sea State: N/A Air Temperature: 20C Sea Temperature: N/A Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
I went back to the estuary around 6pm and found Ken, BEFS, SeanBo and Jane
sat there watching the sand!! There certainly wasn't enough water to
anything and the wind had dropped, so we all drove back to our 'house', and
walked across the dunes to the beach in order to fly a kite.
The plan was to let those who hadn't flown one before have a go. However
the wind was really gusty and actually quite strong over the tops of the
dunes, but with next to nothing in the lee of the dunes so I wasn't the
easiest of conditions. We therefore thought better of letting them have a
go. i flew the kite for a litle while, just messing around with a few jumps
and a little go on the mountainboard, but really it was hardly a 'session'
worth mentioning. It was of course better than doing nothing and the sun
was shining so it was still enjoyable and I'm sure it strecthed my back
quite nicely.
